          Let It Breathe

          Forget conditioners and quick fixes. To lift a mark, dust on a touch of talcum powder, smooth it with a dry cloth, and leave it be for a couple of days. If your gloves get wet, blot gently, reshape them softly, and let them dry at their own pace — away from the radiator, the sun, or any artificial heat.

          Care Method

          Apply talcum powder over marks with a dry cloth. Leave for 48 hours, then dust off gently. If wet, blot carefully, reshape, and air dry naturally. Never fold or store while damp.

          For Deeper Care

          If your gloves become stiff, lose their shape or develop persistent stains, a leather care specialist can restore their structure and surface without compromising their character.

          Claudette - Leather Gloves - White I recently purchased a pair of gorgeous leather gloves from Cornelia James. I’ve always felt uncomfortable wearing white cotton gloves—my hands are large, and the cotton only makes them look bigger. My mother used to wear elegant white leather gloves from Cornelia James (purchased in London) many years ago, and I was thrilled to discover they were still in business. When I wore my gloves to a white-glove reception in May 2025, I received countless compliments. I’m so grateful that my Claudette gloves make me feel every bit the lady.

          Elegance befitting a queen
          I couldn't imagine a pair of gloves fitting so perfect!y and looking so elegant. Normally, I hate wearing gloves, but these are so comfortable I don't want to remove them. My lovely Claudettes are excited to make their debut!
